Camens Maintain Their Momentum with ‘On The Walk From The Picturehouse’

Less than three months ago, we discovered and fell in love with Camens’ anthemic single ‘Jacket Weather’. The Stoke-On-Trent-based act has now returned to grace out with another indie-rock triumph in the form of ‘On The Walk From The Picturehouse’, and it’s an absolute stunner from start to finish. Staying true to their irresistible blend of gritty guitars, pounding drums, and infectious choruses, it’s a stadium-ready tune that will have you on your feet in no time! Punchy, bright, upbeat, and just perfect!

Toying lyrically with the idea of taking someone you like out, and how that can be compared to seeing a movie trailer, Camens showcase their strong storytelling ability as well as their musical expertise. “In both situations, it’s not until you take the plunge that you’ll know if you both click,” says songwriter Scott Powell. “Or if the film is all you hoped it would be”.

These lads are onto something sonically special, and we’re not the only ones taking notice. They’ve already toured with Flordia-based indie rockers Black Kids as well as the legendary Scouting for Girls. In August, they’ll be hitting the main stage at Deva Fest alongside the likes of Feeder and Starsailor. Camens have arrived, and they’re here for the long run!
