Steve Contino Shares Honest Gem ‘Storm’

Always drawn to music, Steve Contino presents an origin story we have heard a lot in the past few years. He’s never considered releasing music until the pandemic hit. Suddenly, an urge to express himself, a push to be creative arose from an already fertile soul. Contino used such a force to write songs and share them with the world.

‘Storm’ is the product of such a process, an uplifting yet nostalgic gem built on retro pop and rock stylings. Measured and controlled, the record features Contino on vocals and acoustic guitar, fiercely driving the song towards glorious and relatable territories. It’s a friendly and approachable offering, a wholesome slice of lyrical fragility.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the record, Steve explains: “I asked myself how can there be no clouds with all this rain. Then I thought relationships could be like that. The good things in the relationship are so good that you stick around and endure all the bad, even if there is more bad than good”.
