Reema Returns with Cathartic, Personal Single ‘Whole World’

Brighton-based songstress Reema has fully understood how nothing in this world is immutable. Embracing change and evolution from both a sonic and lyrical perspective, the German talent is not afraid of vulnerability and authenticity, delving into soothing alt-folk territories steeped in elegance and evocative energy.

Layering her incredible, shimmering vocals on a bed of cinematic synths and gentle sound design – courtesy of Night House’s Nick Williams – Reema crafts a personal piece, yet one that’s relatable on a global level. ‘Whole World’ is exactly that: a cathartic slice of blissful aural work.

As Reema explains: “‘Whole World’ is a song about perspective. I wrote it during a time when anxiety made my world feel impossibly small. As an autistic woman, I often fixate on tiny details—things that feel overwhelming in the moment but, in reality, aren’t the point.

This song is my reminder to zoom out, to step back from self-doubt and see the bigger picture: the people we love, the beauty around us, and the sheer miracle of being here at all. At its core, Whole World is about letting go of perfection and finding joy in simply existing—a theme that runs through the entire EP.”
