Litvar Returns with Eclectic Indie Jewel ‘Alone (Not Lonely)’

It’s satisfying to witness musical acts growing from undiscovered outfits to solid realities. Take Litvar, for instance: the American band has been constantly developing their artistry since their studio debut in 2020. The keen reader will remember their previous single, ‘You Should Find a New Boyfriend’ – writing about it, we proudly declared: “heart-wrenching indie goodness, which conquered us instantly.”

Now, Litvar are back with their first single of the year, the eclectic and hopeful gem ‘Alone (Not Lonely)’. The listening experience is eclectic and enchanting, one of the freshest tracks we have heard in a while. Sharing quirky energy, the record builds over light and poppy indie tones, including decisively dreamy vocals and a glorious chorus. Lyrically, ‘Alone (Not Lonely)’ seeks to be a sarcastic and introspective love song with self-aware flair. The track also marks a further step towards Litvar’s upcoming album, ‘Eloquently Aimless’, expected in September 2023.

Describing the creative process behind the single, Litvar explain: “We first started working on Alone (Not Lonely) in February of 2021, beginning with just a chopped guitar loop that became the backbone of the song. It ended up becoming one of our favorite songs to play live, so when it came time to record our second album it was at the top of the list.”
