Late Met Dawn Debut with Minimal Yet Intense Gem ‘Bunny’

When Fin and Podge met at a local open mic, they had no idea their collaboration would stem into a fully-fledged musical project. You know, one thing is jamming together, feeling wild and free while soloing off each other, another is actually putting some thought into what one is doing.

The Irish duo seems to have managed to do exactly that, transitioning from a casual encounter to a stable artistic entity. Known as Late Met Dawn, the pair is proud to announce their debut release, ‘Bunny’, a rather original and introspective offering that seems to build on a fictitious minimalism – being that really, there’s a lot more there than what meets the ear.

Proficient players, Late Met Dawn blend acoustic and classical guitar in quite a charming package. In truth, we don’t often come across classical guitar, and when we do it is always special. In ‘Bunny’, the two guitars interlace in a poignant, almost solemn texture, moving slowly while providing the perfect sonic framework for Fin’s gritty and raw vocals, gracefully guiding the listener through metaphorical lyricism and witty storytelling.
