Adik Angel Returns with ‘Saved Time (Remix)’

We had the pleasure of writing about Adik Angel not long ago, discovering a nuanced and intriguing creative, fiercely dedicated to sonic research and a charming electronica-fuelled aesthetic. About her previous single ‘Evasions’, we proudly declared: “listeners will lose themselves in early house vocals, hypnotising beats and luscious samples taken directly from the best Eurodance.” Now, the Switzerland-based talent returns with a remix of an older piece, ‘Saved Time’. In it, Angel brings the track in the new decade – while it was originally released in 2019.

We can clearly hear the same nostalgic Eurodance imprint as its predecessor, blending the best of the new and the old. Spacious, high-pitched vocal samples are layered against arpeggiated synthetisers, bright textures and nuanced ambience. The result is quite hypnotising, with the track having a strong sync potential – there’s a lot of use for it as background music.

We urge you to dive into it, and on a wider level into Adik’s whole catalogue. You are bound to discover a talented artist that passionately pursues artistic recognition, showcasing the quality of her production release after release.
