My current obsession with all music coming out of Nashville was further magnified the other day when I heard ‘Deep Blue Sea’, the sophomore single from the hugely gifted folk/pop artist Kadi Beth. Serving as the follow-up to her debut ‘Give Me Love’, the singer/songwriter’s brand new tune is a heartfelt and entrancing little number filled with soul and warmth. Its delicate and unique blend of folky pop, along with Kadi’s whimsical and idiosyncratic vocals, has made it one of the sweetest and most infectious songs that I’ve come across all year!
It’s a short little ditty, standing at only two minutes and seventeen seconds long, but what it lacks in length it more than makes up for in captivating allure. Kadi’s enchanting vocals have truly stolen my heart, and there’s a distinctiveness to them that I’ve just completely fallen in love with! Simply breathtaking!
The musician has big plans for the rest of 2023, with three more singles and a highly anticipated music video scheduled for release later this year. Her first two releases are absolute knockouts, and I’m so excited to hear what she has in store. Remember the name, Kadi Beth!
