BOSSMACHINE and FLASCH get Energetic and Experimental on ‘Hypnotic’

BOSSMACHINE is the musical project of Los Angeles-based musicians and producers Austin Love and Matt “Niko” Pease. Both have extensive experience within the music scene, Austin as a former punk rocker and Matt as a visionary producer and beatmaker. On their recent release ‘Hypnotic’, the duo bring along the ridiculously talented artist FLASCH for the ride. The gender-fluid, non-binary musician brings their vocals to the party, adding sparkling, dynamic and bold elements to the tune that just take it to the next level.

As for the beat, it’s deeply eclectic and inventive. Experimenting with deep bass, trap beats, and pop melodies, ‘Hypnotic’ is in-your-face and energetic, filled with moments that stick in your head long after the track has finished. Lyrically, it’s a song about “having a crush on someone who is too nervous to make the first move,” says the duo. “You know someone you like has feelings for you but they’re too caught up overthinking everything”.

‘Hypnotic’ has caught the attention of many, and is nearing 10,000 plays on Spotify in a very short amount of time. It’s easy to see the tunes, and the act’s, appeal. There’s a liveliness and spirit to their sound that simply pulls you straight in and refuses to let go! A wonderful discovery!
