We truly enjoyed listening to ‘Blabbermouth’. Packed with vivid, poignant lyricism and a wealth of towering, anthemic instrumental motifs, the single marks D3lta’s return to the music scene, following up from ‘Lonely Together’, released earlier this year. It all serves a bigger purpose, with the Greek talent’s upcoming album scheduled for October 3rd. Judging by what we hear on ‘Blabbermouth’, D3lta appears to have struck sonic gold, with an elegant, old-school pop-rock character that’s highly hypnotising and fierce.
Introduced by a steady drum beat and gentle acoustic guitar, ‘Blabbermouth’ serves up an ever-developing lyrical journey into romantic pains, navigating a fading relationship from start to finish; the joy, the hope, and the subsequent nostalgia and eventual acceptance. D3lta distils such powerful emotions in sonic form, wrapping listeners into a wholesome and expressive cathartic journey. Speaking about the inspiration behind the single, D3lta explains: “It’s an emotional rollercoaster that takes you from the bright, intimate moments of a relationship to the painful inability to accept its end.”
Honestly, this is a really good record, one that deserves to be experienced first-hand – words might not do it justice. Known as Robert Coustas by day, the talented troubadour just finished a headline tour throughout Greece and the UK. The future is bright, as so it’s the project’s upcoming album.
