We have so far understood one important thing about Cubicore’s artistic action: he’s not playing the small game. His tracks and productions are often larger than life, truly hard-hitting, high-octane and with a delightfully trance-oriented appeal. Previous single ‘Monster’ moved in that direction too, aptly described by us as “another fiery and atmospheric club banger”. ‘Feel Alive’ now grabs the flaming torch, marking Cubicore’s continuous commitment towards original records.
After all, his feature in the notorious ‘A State of Trance’ compilation didn’t happen by chance. The Ukrainian DJ knows his skills and strengths extremely well, proudly building on the foundation he laid out in the past few years. His references are wider and eclectic, yet massive synth tones, nordic-leaning, fuzzy arpeggios and anthemic vocals seems to be more at home in Cubicore’s overall style.
‘Feel Alive’ is the ultimate club banger, a slice of legendary euphoria and unmatched charisma, further enhanced by sultry female vocals and a constant tension between the piece’s various sections. Denys Tyshlek – as the talented DJ is known by day – continues to impress, and won’t be long before the whole planet reckons with that.
