Clare Easdown Is Proud of Your Authenticity in ‘To The One’s I Love’

Continuing her productive cycle of artistic research, Clare Easdown unveils her latest effort, ‘To The One’s I Love’. The keen listener will be at home, by now quite familiar with the project’s mesmerising and hypnotising electronica. What Easdown seems to look for is a personal brand of haunting and ethereal pop, the kind of track that’s able to provide the listener with a source of escapism. Of course, the writing is more relatable, although containing a certain haunting and metaphorical quality to it.

Lyrically, the song focuses on motivating all the peeps that might feel like misfits, the ones that don’t fit in and are “ignored, discarded, and excluded from the pack.” It’s an anthem of hope and solace, with Clare being adamant about the fact that they “are not alone”. In other words, keep being you, you are doing great!
