Afternoon In The Park Share Latest Offering ‘Blood Cocktail’

Hailing from Paris, Afternoon in the Park showcase a sound that punches above its weight. Championing slick and anthemic indie matter, the talented band initiates an alluring and fierce sonic journey that’s best observed in ‘Blood Cocktail’. The group’s latest effort, the single moves with intense charisma and relentless catchiness, delivering a dance-inducing, fuzzy tune that’s almost impossible to resist. Yamin Alma’s lead vocals crown the track with their unapologetic carefree attitude.

Ari, Julien and Thomas complete the talented lineup, helping make Afternoon in the Park one of the most interesting indie rock outfits we have discovered lately. Drawing inspiration from global acts such as The Strokes, Oasis, and Arctic Monkeys, among others, the French rockers are not trying to reinvent the wheel; instead, they are providing their own interpretation of a cultural formula that’s familiar and well-oiled. In that regard, it’s clear that Afternoon in the Park have reached their goal, with ‘Blood Cocktail’ transforming into a standout indie cut.

The track is taken from the group’s latest album ‘Livin’ Around The Sun’, out now. Delving deeper into the record, Afternoon in the Park explain: “The album narrates, over 12 tracks, the story of a character, his emotions, his doubts, and his hopes on this planet that tirelessly revolves around the Sun.”
