The keen reader will gladly remember Rome-based musician and songwriter Lipford from an article we published last year, celebrating ‘Just a Cry’ as “electrifying and hard-hitting”, a statement that very well describes Lipford’s overall artistic manifesto. The Italian-American musician enjoys diving into heavy rock and progressive territories, all the while maintaining a highly evocative and melodic lyrical allure. It’s the perfect marriage of intents: intense, but purposeful.
Recently, Lipford has returned with a brand new offering, ‘The Music’, a slice of unapologetic and timeless hard rock goodness performed with fellow band Neverhush. Produced by the artist himself, ‘The Music’ was then recorded by Francesco Grammatico at Jungle Music Factory. We must pay our compliments for how beautifully Lipford’s vocals have been captured, here exposed in all their anthemic, malleable character.

From a lyrical standpoint, ‘The Music’ evokes a truly empowering and inspiring ethos, seeking to motivate listeners to express themselves as they see fit, not to succumb to the gloominess of the daily grind. As we are told: “an intimate and heartfelt tribute to the power of music in our lives. Addressed to a close friend but ultimately a conversation with oneself, the track reflects years of sacrifice, dreams, and hard work, even when results seem elusive.” We suspect the track will relate to a wide audience out there.
