Tom Tikka Releases Celebratory Album ‘Rainbows and Dead Flowers’

Following up on previous effort ‘Fire and Ice’, Tom Tikka returns with a larger, extensive record. ‘Rainbows and Dead Flowers’ is a stunning twelve-track album, packed with soothing, introspective and warm songwriting, enough to appreciate the magnitude of Tikka’s artistry. We should know: he’s been on our radars for a while now. The Finnish talent has the ability to deliver soothing, melodious and meaningful toplines, infusing his songs with relatability and friendliness.

Not a surprise, given Tom’s successful career as an international songwriter for the likes of Carmen Gray and Sony/BMG, among others. We are even told that ‘Rainbows and Dead Flowers’ seeks to celebrate Tikka’s twenty years in music. A tremendous career – hats off to you, Tom!

Speaking about the album, the Helsinki-based creative explains: “This album took forever to make. I wanted each track to have a life of its own. Not just production-wise and musically but also lyrically. That’s why the themes on the album range from childhood to the fear of dying. But it’s not just doom and gloom, mind you. There’s a bit of sex and fun on the record too.”
