THE HYBRIS is an international alternative rock act consisting of three members who go by the names of Ringo Rabbit, Beanie Bison, and Malcolm Mandrill. Based in France, Germany, and the USA, the band still find a way of creating and releasing the music that they love. ‘Celebrate The Good Times’ is their latest single, and it’s a punky, rocky, and gritty little tune that I’ve fallen pretty hard for. Smashing drums, galloping basslines, overdrive-soaked guitars, and baritone vocals all combine to construct an in-your-face and hard-hitting track that doesn’t let up for a second.
“‘Celebrate The Good Times’ is an ironic statement,” says the band. “Against the ignorance and immoderateness of the privileged”. Filled with attitude and conviction, it’s a track that perfectly showcases just what THE HYBRIS are all about. With a name inspired by Greek tragedy, all three members stay true to their beliefs, opinions, and world views.
