Sydney Gordon Gets Brutally Honest on ‘I Should’ve Known’

Not to toot my own horn, but I was praising New York-based singer/songwriter and pop superstar Sydney Gordon at the beginning of last year already when she released her debut single ‘Chains’. I just knew she was destined for big things and to say that she’s gone from strength to strength would be an understatement. Her brand new single is a tune called ‘I Should’ve Known’, and it sees the musician getting profoundly personal and brutally honest. It’s a captivating anthem about self-empowerment, taking control of our lives, and growing from our mistakes.

In true Sydney fashion, ‘I Should’ve Known’ is another genre-bending track that I simply refuse to place in a box. Sure, at its core it’s a pop song, but it’s also soulful, rocky, and even a little R&B-ish. It’s what I love about Gordon, to be honest – you never quite know what you’re going to get – but you’re always delightfully surprised!

‘I Should’ve Known’ is another special tune that Sydney can proudly add to her growing discography. She is a true artist in every sense of the word, and I couldn’t be more sure that she’ll be playing large shows and arenas extremely soon!
