Sungaze Release Dreamy, Reflective Single ‘Feel Better Tomorrow’

Fully laying into their Midwest emo character, Cincinnati-based shoegaze outfit Sungaze have recently unveiled a stunningly dreamy and ethereal single, ‘Feel Better Tomorrow’. Spacious and reflective, the track does a good job of blending the group’s expansive gaze-like energy, striking post-punk, and indie flavourings, making for a piece that’s both evocative and hard-hitting.

We love it: from the impassionate, floaty vocals – courtesy of frontwoman Ivory Snow – to the dense, texture-packed guitar-powered aural energy, guided by co-founder Ian Hilvert. Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘Feel Better Tomorrow’, Sungaze explain: “It speaks to the reality of dealing with chronic illness and health anxiety. A feel-good song for those of us whose ‘good days’ can often feel overshadowed by the bad.”
