I’d describe ‘Pause’ as a comfortable, dreamy piece. That’s especially true for me, since I love shoegaze tones, washed-out guitars and hazy imagery. Does anyone remember the bus journey back from school or uni? When the day is done, and we can all enjoy a mindless trip home? Well, this song would be the perfect soundtrack for that. ‘Pause’ would be my slice of heaven during my bus journey home. A space to escape, dream deeply, and find solace in the gentle and soothing sonic energy delivered by Soft Top Intrepid.
