Silver Liz Return with Hypnotic, Lush Cut ‘Dream More Vivid’

We longed for a wholesome husband-wife duo, and the universe provided. The living proof that love doesn’t always complicate artistic endeavours, Silver Liz have recently returned from a three-year hiatus with a wonderfully hazy and hypnotic effort, ‘Dream More Vivid’. In it, talented musicians Carrie and Matt Wagner expand their sound into vaporous, blissful electronica, borrowing jungle beats and abstract synthetisers in the process. Carrie’s expansive, otherworldly vocals are soaked in reverb and feverish tone, exactly as we like it.

Sparking a new era of creativity for the American duo, ‘Dream More Vivid’ follows up on Matt’s solitary forays into club-driven electronica, ‘We Could Stay’ EP, a record that gained a solid 7.6 score from Pitchfork. Such an influence has obviously taken over Silver Liz’s new material, as the duo swap their bucolic indie origins for a more lush and complex sonic livery. It’s fine by us: ‘Dream More Vivid’ is pure escapism, a record you can get lost in. That’s exactly what we’ll do. See you later…

Silver Liz’s upcoming album ‘III’ is expected on January 30th 2026, via Extremely Pure.
