Signal Static Champion Inspiring Message in ‘Under the Skin’

If there’s one thing that seems to be under threat these days, it’s personal and civil liberties. With it, comes the power of being true to oneself, the ability to be fully open with one’s identity and character. That’s exactly what Signal Static are warning us about. Emerging from Canada, the talented rock outfit seeks to sympathise and support everyone that’s fighting for their right to exist and the right to expression, in particular the Trans and Non-Binary community, a controversial topic in a few areas of the States. ‘Under the Skin’ is a musical masterpiece that poses as a vehicle for such a crucial message.

As the group explains: “This song champions the stories of our many wonderful friends in the Trans and Non-Binary communities, and in a larger that of anybody who is working hard to make progress and own their identity in a world that doesn’t make it easy.” Sonically, Signal Static are best comfortable in hardcore, alt-rock setting, championing tough distortion, electrifying riffs and anthemic vocals.

Mixed and mastered by talented engineer Ari Mihalopoulos of Victory Records’ metal band Distrophy, ‘Under the Skin’ really showcases Signal Static’s artistic prowess, making them a promise in the alt-rock scene. Looking forward to what’s to come.
