What if I told you that the man behind Shyfrin Alliance is not only a talented musician but also an accomplished author? Known as a businessman and scientist as well as an artistic polymath, Eduard Shyfrin started building Shyfrin Alliance only last year, yet the project’s second album is fast approaching, showcasing a great deal of productivity and musical inspiration. Taken from the upcoming LP ‘In The Shadow of Time’, ‘Buddha Blues’ gets given lead single duties.
A slice of rock’n’roll and country euphoria, ‘Buddha Blues’ champions a rather playful take on Shyfrin Alliance’s usual eclecticism, finding refuge in a laidback, bluesy instrumental perfectly crowned by Eduard’s earthy, raw vocals, full of charisma and vibrancy. As always, the record’s lyricism is steeped in Shyfrin’s best-selling book, “From Infinity to Man: The Fundamental Ideas of Kabbalah Within the Framework of Information Theory and Quantum Physics”.
Delving deeper into the meaning behind the single, Eduard explains: “I’ve chosen a very difficult topic: time. Nobody knows the nature of time. There is no definition. So it was a challenge. I don’t think there exists an album dedicated purely to the topic of time. You will not find such an album. Each song is dedicated to different aspects of time. That is certainly unique.”
