Saves the Witch Shares Dreamy Tune ‘It’s Dangerous to go Alone, Take Me’

Saves the Witch is another musical project for which we have COVID-19 to thank. The brainchild of North Carolina-based musician and multi-instrumentalist Eric Maynes, Saves the Witch has just released a brand new single called ‘It’s Dangerous to go Alone, Take Me’. The dreamy, chilled-out, and relaxing instrumental is simply extraordinary! A four-and-a-half-minute sonic journey that your brain and body just melt into. The rich and vibrant guitar work is certainly a stand-out feature of the tune and showcases Mayne’s ability to paint beautiful and scenic pictures using just instruments and no vocals.

“Sometimes you don’t have to have words for everything you feel,” says the artist. “I never pressure myself to try and do that with this project. Sometimes the music is enough”. Truer words have never been spoken, and they firmly reiterate my belief and attraction to instrumental music.

The track leaves an impression that is hard to shake off. It’s a testament to Mayne’s musical ability and artistry that he can convey so much emotion and depth without uttering a single word. It’s a masterpiece of instrumental music and I cannot wait to hear what Saves the Witch gets up to next!
