Salads Shares Catchy Pop-Punk Anthem ‘butterfly sans’

Reading Salads’ bio is like reading a movie script. Spending his early years shuffling between Bangkok and Thailand, exploring Christian boarding schools and popping to California for a quick film course. Now residing in England, Salads make eclectic and emotional music, stemming from his own convoluted personality. Channelling pop-punk influences and modern electronic elements, the talented young artist crafts material that’s poignant in its substance while punchy and energising in its structure.

‘butterfly sans’ is Salads’ latest effort, and it couldn’t be a more electrifying offering: this time he’s aiming to full pop-punk assertiveness, crafting a piece that’s both emotional and angry, while exploring childhood traumas and past events. Salads’ vocals are always unique, channelling a light vocoder-style tone, while remaining understated and well-blended in the instrumental production, thanks to organic instrumentation and real distortion.

At only 20 years old, the Epsom resident looks dead set on a glorious career. And how could it not be? Boasting an impressively polished sound as the basis of his immaculate songwriting, it is clear Salads has already the right cards in his hands to reach the top. ‘butterfly sans’ is out now on all digital stores, aided by SONO Music’s behind-the-scene work.
