Often, collaborative work pays off. There’s something unique in two talented creatives getting together to shape the perfect tune – as we can observe in this case. Emerging from Florida, CATDADDY is the moniker of Aidan Paul and Leonardo Bacan, getting together in the name of pop, great grooves and feel-good vibes. Perhaps that’s how their artistic manifesto could be best described: a euphoric, exciting and summery bundle of joy, blessed by luscious and playful lyrics. Not to mention the slick vocals the duo has to offer.
‘Disco Love’ is CATDADDY’s debut effort, and the single that promises big things for the future. Channelling the contemporary disco-pop sound, so fashionable and sought after, the pair channels their inner Dua-Lipa and Daft Punk personas, driving relatable and easy-going lyricism along a mesmerising and groovy electronic arrangement. The record was recorded in Sweden under the music production of Amir Aly (Jill Johnson, Elena Paparizou, Danny Saucedo).
