PILOTS Gear Up for Upcoming Album with ‘Leave Someone’

There’s something quite exciting and euphoric in PILOTS’ music and overall aesthetics. In fact, I am pretty sure it’s because of their hidden nostalgic character. Hear me out: championing evocative alt-rock laced with indie sensibilities, the British group exhibits a certain early ‘2000s flair, making the project very alluring for any 30-year-old out there. Citing the likes of The Stone Roses, The Dandy Warhols and The Smiths as their inspiration, among others, PILOTS seems to have very clear ideas about where they are headed.

‘Leave Someone’ is one of their latest effort, a slice of rowdy, anthemic alt-rock goodness with relatable lyricism and fuzzy guitar tones. PILOTS’ strength lies in their approachable, welcoming character. While they do indulge in heavier territories, overall their artistic output remains targeted to a wide audience, a quality that will take them forward in their burgeoning career.

Busy building momentum for an upcoming album – ‘Eyes on The Horizon’ – the band is unveiling singles after singles, so much so that at the time of publication, a completely brand-new offering is live, ‘Love’s Made a Fool’. For any London-based listener, PILOTS are set to take to the stage at the legendary Water Rats in London, on Thursday 27th March (tomorrow).
