Olie Beckett Returns with Bright Pop Effort ‘Hawkeye’

Continuing his quest towards world domination, teen pop sensation Olie Beckett has recently returned with a wonderfully measured and elegant single, ‘Hawkeye’. As always, it’s all pretty lush and vibrant, with the song slowly developing over a solid, constant drum beat, and a minimalist arrangement that leaves ample space for Beckett’s clean, towering vocals. Being just fifteen, Olie’s high tenor tone has become almost a signature element for the American creative.

Overall, ‘Hawkeye’ shares a certain playful flair, with bright, relatable songwriting set to capture a wide audience. Speaking about the inspiration behind the piece, Beckett explains: “It taps into the complexities of growing up, capturing the rush of young love and the pains of coming of age. It features a lesson that takes many a lifetime to learn: you can’t change people.”

Celebrated by the likes of Sweety High, Galore, NICK Music, and Earmilk, among others, it’s clear the Beckett’s musical talent is nothing ordinary; he has enough time to make it on the world’s most important stages, and judging by what we have heard so far, it won’t be long till that happens.
