Novozero Unleash Their Reverb-Drenched New Single ‘I See’

‘I See’ is the crunchy and multifaceted new single from Novozero, a duo based in Tromsø, Norway. Made up of Anna on vocals and keys and Andreas on bass, guitars, and synth, Novozero offer up a fuzzy and reverb-drenched tune that I just cannot get out of my head! ‘I See’ is the first single from the duo’s upcoming debut album, and while starting off rather gently, it’s not long before their bouncy and rocking soundscape comes to the fore. It hits you like a shotgun to the heart and further solidifies Novozero’s take on the rather unusual “rock ‘n’ roll without a lead guitar”.

It was in the harsh and dark Norwegian winter of 2021 when Anna and Andreas first got down to writing songs. “We had recently moved from our nation’s capital to the other side of the country, and what met us was a city in full lockdown,” they say. With nothing but time on their hands, they crafted three tracks that would eventually make up their debut EP ‘Everything’s a Bit Funny Right Now’.

Novozero’s debut album is set for release sometime before the end of 2023, and you know we’ll be there to cover it all!
