Noella Rain Unveils Timeless Ballad ‘Some Stories’

Evoking an elegant, wonder-like atmosphere, ‘Some Stories’ develops with a timeless character, a slice of pure, unfiltered orchestral goodness drenched in lush vocals and smooth, ballad-flavoured melodies. What more could one wish for? This is a record that’s not interested in fitting a certain trend of a viral formula; instead, it draws from the classics, sparking a heartfelt journey into crooning-laden territories and soulful aural energy.

Guiding such a hypnotising piece, we find Noella Rain’s heightened artistic flair. We are rather impressed by the fact that she’s only 22, yet her musical identity appears incredibly wise and in control. Perhaps it’s due to Rain’s longstanding commitment to music, actively recording since her early teenage years. Teaming up once again with producer Jeff Gruber from Blue House Productions, Noella is eager to add another chapter to an already blistering career. Noella’s vocal tone is, as always, a joy to listen to, truly expressive and hypnotising.

Delving deeper into the inspiration behind ‘Some Stories’, the American songstress explains: “I was inspired to write this song as I was getting to know a new special person romantically who I really liked, but I was scared to be vulnerable and reveal some things from my past. I think a lot of people can have past ‘stories’ we’d rather keep buried or hidden. I also think it can be a scary feeling to get to know someone new.”
