My Life As A Moth Delivers Chewy Indie-Pop Gem ‘Heated Heart’

My Life As A Moth is the emerging London-based musical project of Swedish singer/songwriter Sofia Palm. I say emerging, but she’s already racked up hundreds of thousands of Spotify streams with just five releases. The most recent, ‘Heated Heart’, sees the artist concoct a dazzling and deeply captivating piece of chewy indie-pop brilliance. Working alongside some stellar musicians and producer extraordinaire Rob Ellis (PJ Harvey), Sofia consolidates her position as one the most exciting new artists on the block.

“This song is very much about embodying self-love, and learning to love yourself enough to know that you deserve better in your life,” says Palm. “It’s fun and free-spirited and feels like a celebration of self”.

Worming its way into your head and refusing to leave, ‘Heated Heart’ is one the sweetest and most beautifully constructed tunes that I’ve heard so far this year. Whatever your genre preference, it’s a track that has something for everyone to love about it, and we can’t wait to hear My Life As A Moth’s forthcoming debut album! It promises to be something quite special!

Serious tune alert! Enjoy ‘Heated Heart’ on Spotify now:
