Motihari Brigade Pair Previous Single ‘Reality Shows’ with New Short Film

The keen reader might remember reading about Motihari Brigade last year, when we gladly delved into their latest album ‘Algorithm & Blues’. An eclectic record oscillating between rock and reggae, it showcased the authentic and unique character of a highly enlightened collective. Championing a mantra called ‘Rock-N-Roll Thoughtcrime’ – as defined by head honcho Eric Winston: “music for independent minds” – the Indianapolis-based group now returns with a stunning short film paired with the reggae hit ‘Reality Shows’, previously included in the album.

A collaborative effort with filmmaker Jovana Tomasevic of MLADE Studio, the official short film for ‘Reality Shows’ doubles down on themes of independence, freedom, and breaking free from the system. Scripted, produced, shot and edited by Tomasevic herself, this visually groundbreaking and intense story features mysterious hooded figures representing the spirit of hope itself, and encouraging people to break free from the technological filters imposed by the elite.

This impressive audio-video project really enhance Motihari Brigade’s own philosophy, augmenting its relatability and making sure the group can connect to a wider audience.
