MIHI NIHIL Returns with Evocative Gem ‘So Please’

It is with great pleasure that we bring to your attention the latest offering from MIHI NIHIL, Californian soulful blues-country outfit that has been making waves in the music industry. Championing a unique and eclectic style, the group manages to deliver material that feels timeless and irresistible, exploring luscious blues guitar tones, country poignancy, and folk introspection. The band’s latest effort seems to be doubling down on those qualities: ‘So Please’ is a slice of happiness, a land of comfort where listeners can recharge and escape.

Over a charming slow-pace drum groove, half-western half-shoegaze, MIHI NIHIL draws a tale of love and loss, headed by the wonderful and evocative vocals of frontwoman Mihi Vox. Benjamin Montoya on guitar, Nick Steinberg on bass and Adam Alt on drums complete the line-up, forming a squad that has been working perfectly since its inception, gaining them a plethora of international features and streaming successes.

With ‘So Please’, MIHI NIHIL demonstrate their versatility and range as a band, showcasing their ability to seamlessly blend elements of soul, country, goth, and punk into a captivating sonic landscape. The band describes the song as a reflection on human nature, set against the backdrop of canyons and the vibrant colours of sundown. It is a story that weaves together the timeless themes of human experience with the band’s unique musical sensibilities, creating a work that is both evocative and deeply moving.
