Love Trip Release Hypnotic Sophomore Single ‘Wind on the Hill’

‘Wind on the Hill’ is the hypnotic sophomore single from Love Trip, a folktronica duo comprising Mary Rising and Will Hammer. Based out of California, though happier when travelling across the United States in their van, Mary and Will created their latest tune during long nights in the desert while in Death Valley, Sedona, and Tuscon.

Produced entirely by Will on his laptop, ‘Wind on the Hill’ is a chilled-out and almost trance-inducing piece of music that reflects the duo’s deep connection to nature. ‘The song was inspired by the flooding in our home base of Topanga,” says the pair. “It captures the eerie feeling of when the earth speaks out against how we are treating it”.

Mary’s tranquil vocals provide yet another sense of serenity and peace, while Will’s fiddle creates a sound that is undeniably unique and, truthfully, just fun to listen to. Going where the music takes them, Love Trip is an act that embodies the spirit of exploration and discovery, as they capture the very essence of a nomadic lifestyle and the quest for creative inspiration.

Inspired by the likes of Sylvan Esso, Rising Appalachia, and Mindchatter, Love Trip is a duo that we cannot wait to hear more from!
