Delving deeper into the creative and lyrical inspiration that propels ‘My Sun’, Romanova explains: “As a child in Baku, my mother and grandmother took me to see ‘Stepmom’ at a newly opened cinema near our home. Somewhere inside that film, between heartbreak and hope, came a pure moment of joy: two voices singing together as if love could outrun anything. That sensation has stayed near and dear to me since then. Years later, having found a love of my own, I wanted to write a song that held that same spirit.”
