Kelsie Kimberlin Honours Ukraine’s Resilience in ‘Another Chance To Live Again’

Kelsie Kimberlin has become very vocal about the Russian aggression of Ukraine. Sharing Ukrainian and American roots, the talented songstress has been focusing on telling the story of the many heroes fighting in the conflict, using her art as an elegant and impactful vehicle. It’s working: after witnessing the battlefield first-hand Kimberlin set up a foundation where she’s collecting donations to sustain the Ukrainian efforts.

Many listeners out there will be already familiar with the situation, thanks to Kelsie’s latest singles, all centred on her experience with war. ‘Another Chance To Live Again’ joins that very same list, offering a slow-paced, meaningful ballad celebrating the many lives lost and the hardships endured every day by civilians.

As usual for the project, Kimberlin also crafts a suggestive and evocative video showcasing the rubbles and the destruction unleashed on Ukraine by a belligerent Russian state. Speaking about it, Kelsie explains: “I travelled to Ukraine to film the video in some of the locations of the worst atrocities in Irpin and Bucha. The video begins at a destroyed cultural centre that was once the go-to place for plays, concerts, and other happy community events.”
