Jemimah Paine Shares Uplifting and Empowering Gem ‘Head & Heart’

When we heard ‘Head & Heart’, by rising singer-songwriter and worship leader Jemimah Paine, we instantly knew we had come across something special. Although Paine has a history of sharing uplifting, empowering and spiritual songs with her audience, we believe ‘Head & Heart’ is a step up from all previous material, both in its intents and musical formulas. For a start, the record is engaging and catchy – just pop at its best. Sort of a masterclass in songwriting. The understated verses accompany the listener towards a glorious, relatable, memorable and epic chorus.

Secondly, the song assumes a special meaning, stemming directly from Jemimah’s expertise as a worship leader. In its lyricism, the young talent seeks to encourage her audience to embrace the true power of god. As she explains: “That is one thing I am really passionate about, is for my music to help people make that journey, from knowing Jesus in their head and deciding to have a relationship with Him in their heart.”

Originally from the Island of Guernsey, Jemimah has been singing since she was seven and teaching for the past seven years. She moved to London in 2014 to study Theology, Music and Worship at the London School of Theology. Since then, she has been a guest soloist for various concerts in Guernsey, London, and Amsterdam, and has led worship regularly at her local Church in Hammersmith (London).

‘Head & Heart’ is the first step towards an upcoming EP, ‘Colours’, expected in May.
