Jemimah Paine Returns with Personal and Introspective Ballad ‘Closure’

The keen reader will recall reading about Jemimah Paine only a few weeks ago, when – praising her single ‘Head & Heart’ – we proudly declared: “the record is engaging and catchy – just pop at its best. Sort of a masterclass in songwriting.” Now, the spiritual leader and musical talent is back with ‘Closure’, a delicate and introspective effort continuing the path to Paine’s upcoming EP.

Built on a delicate and minimal electronic arrangement – somehow echoing hyper-pop tones – ‘Closure’ speaks about Jemimah’s personal experience, recalling the sudden loss of her grandmother while on holiday. As she struggled to come to terms with the tragedy, she found solace in writing a song that praises God even in the face of the toughest times.

What stands out about ‘Closure’ is not just the quality of the music, but the depth of emotion and meaning that it conveys. Jemimah has poured her heart and soul into this song, and it shows. She speaks of the healing power of God, a message that is more relevant than ever in the world we live in today.
