Guy Moses and DMZL Team up on Punchy Banger ‘Hollow’

Hitting you with sassiness and fierce energy, ‘Hollow’ is a rather fascinating record. Boasting a minimalistic approach, especially in the production, the song builds its identity on icy, punchy beats, featuring sampled and quirky percussions and a definite hip-hop outlook. The chorus scrambles the track’s identity, showcasing it as the ultimate pop nugget. The collaborative work of Tel-Aviv-based producer Guy Moses and singer-rapper DMZL, ‘Hollow’ anticipates a larger album, ‘Damage Control’, set to be released later this year.

As collaborations go, the two Israeli creatives seem to be getting along perfectly. Moses’ fresh and minimal style is perfectly complimented by DMZL’s evocative and powerful vocals, providing a perfect counterpoint for each other.

Speaking about their work and the upcoming record, the pair explains: “From the first session it was an explosion of creativity and inspiration, with many influences such as Hip-hop to Punk and Emo. This album will move your hips, make you angry, and trigger your most sensitive and gentle emotions.”
