Fierbinteanu Shares Fierce Electro-Punk Cut ‘Women of the World’

A fierce electro-punk project, Fierbinteanu cover a lot of different roles, but perhaps the most fitting definition could be that of holistic creatives. You see, Gabriela (vocals, producer) and Cristian Fierbinteanu (producer, vocals, bass) have been developing their project for a few years now, driving an intense, unapologetic electro-punk ethos steeped in inventive lyricism and fierce charisma. The pair express themselves both through music and the visual arts.

‘Women of the World’ is the perfect evidence of that. Fierbinteanu’s latest effort, the song develops over a strikingly rapturous, hypnotic electro-punk beat, with hints of modern hyper-pop synth work and lamentuous, catchy vocals that sound like a call to arms, a cathartic collective relief. Gabriela’s vocals need to be praised here: she’s managed to modulate her delivery and tone to fit the fast-paced, urgent and immediate character behind the whole record. The result is a piece that’s intense and euphoric.

Staying true to their multi-disciplinary quality, Fierbinteanu gives ‘Women of the World’ a potent music video, a visually rich and luscious concept featuring Jennifer Gee and Els Verwilgen, filmed in Lokeren, Belgium, in early 2025. It’s all focused on “celebrating joyful womanhood”. Currently based in Brussels, Cristian and Gabriela have not run out of ideas yet, and we suspect there’s much more to come from them.
