Estrada Music Project Returns with Evocative Piece ‘Verso Melódico’

Serving as the lead track for the upcoming EP, ‘Verso Melódico’ showcases Estrada Music Project in its most fragile, raw form, uncovering a truly personal tale of change and resilience.

The keen reader might remember Estrada Music Project from a feature we published in November last year, praising ‘I don’t need to hide anymore’ as “a declaration of independence and resilience, so to speak, a way to truly embrace his real persona, without needing to hide parts of it.” The song gave us a lot of clues about the kind of artistry championed by the Glasgow-based singer-songwriter, a talented creative who, as mentioned previously, is a real-life doctor. Vulnerability is the keyword here: Estrada Music Project is not afraid to dive deeper into human emotions and hidden conflicts.

In a sense, ‘Verso Melódico’ continues and expands the project’s artistry on the very same theme, all the while veering the focus towards Spanish lyricism. Serving as the lead track for the upcoming EP, ‘Verso Melódico’ showcases Estrada Music Project in its most fragile, raw form, with the gifted artist uncovering a truly personal tale of change and resilience, especially in the face of romantic complexities. In particular, the single was written in Venezuela, after the end of a long-term relationship.

Speaking more in-depth about the song, Estrada Music Project explains: “It is about the end of a chapter that shaped me into who I am today. It was born out of a difficult time, written just before I left my home country, and it carries the weight of everything I had to leave behind.” Overall, ‘Verso Melódico’ feels quite relatable and heartfelt. While the Spanish lyricism might pose a slight obstacle for English audiences, we suspect that Estrada Music Project’s nuanced and wholesome vocals will more than make up for it.
