Following up on her 2024 album ‘Alias’, Elnoir returns today with what could be described as the spark of a bold new era for the Italian creative. Leaving behind the gloominess and nocturne character the project is known for, ‘Euphoria’ moves towards a more relatable pop livery, yet still maintaining hints of mysterious flair and intense charisma. Layering catchy melodies against melancholic lyricism, the single uncovers an introspective journey into the dark corners of romantic attraction, highlighting how emotional dependency can often transform a relationship into an endless toxic cycle.
It might or might now be taken from personal experience; we are confident listeners will relate to it. As Elnoir eloquently explains: “It’s like a spiral. You know it hurts you, but you keep going back. It’s the illusion of something that makes you feel alive even when it’s consuming you.” Produced by Dario Pruneddu, ‘Euphoria’ still bathes in the cathartic tension that Elnoir is familiar with, just with less leftfield charge and eerie flavouring.
It’s the perfect formula. The single allows Elnoir to reach a bigger audience while retaining her foundational identity. Named an Artist to Watch by Rolling Stone UK in May 2025, it’s clear that the Italian talent is on an upwards trajectory. What’s next for the project?
