Elle Murphy Shares Relatable Pop Banger ‘Lie Lie Lie’

A popstar in the making, Elle Murphy has been on a rising trajectory since her debut in 2021. Showcasing dynamic, evocative and attention-grabbing vocals, her songwriting prowess is not to be overlooked. For reference, last year’s ‘Beautiful Sensitive Boy’ is very close to hitting the half-a-million streams mark. Not bad for a project only two years in the making. Originally from Australia, but now based in London, Elle Murphy doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon, continuing her successful series of stunning and catchy pop singles.

‘Lie Lie Lie’ is Murphy’s latest effort. Introduced by the main vocal hook, which is fantastically memorable, the track makes its way through modern pop sound design and EDM flavourings, then exploding into a glorious chorus, so relatable and empowering. Produced by Julian Schweitzer, the single confirms what we already knew about the Aussie talent: she’s a force to be reckoned with.

Lyrically, we are in relationship territories, with Murphy recalling seeing her ex at a party for the first time since they broke up. Attached to vulnerable and honest lyricism, we are confident that keen listeners will rejoice and relate to such a crucial message.
