Dom Malin Empowers Love and Companionship in ‘Hurricane’

It’s always a pleasure to observe Dom Malin growing his project release after release. A specialist in Folk and pop intimacy, the talented British songster always dives deep into human fragility, penning cathartic, relatable songs with a distinct melancholic character. ‘Hurricane’ is Malin’s latest effort, a slice of enlightening poignancy with a certain nostalgic flair.

Focused on the transformative and healing power of love and companionship in the face of troubles and hardship, ‘Hurricane’ signals a definite step up in Dom’s artistic endeavour. The production is crystal clear and incredibly nuanced, built on modern, warm alt-Folk stylings and gentle guitar distortions – all courtesy of Malin’s collaborator Jonathan Anderson.

Speaking about the record, the British creative explains: “Hurricane champions the courage to overcome hardships and find solace in acknowledging the past as part of your story. However, in the company of someone you love and trust, you can weather any storm.”
