Discover Remora Beach’s Brooding Single ‘Tired Heart’

Taken from Remora Beach’s 2025 debut release, ‘Tired Heart’ is a tender, brooding jewel, the perfect introduction to the project’s reflective lyricism and crepuscular aural character.

It was October 2025 when Remora Beach dropped a debut double single, ‘Family Wisdom/Tired Heart’. Since then, the talented Los Angeles-based troubadour has been relatively quiet on the new music front, yet we suspect there may be lots of good stuff in store for the future. For now, it’s worth uncovering ‘Tired Heart’, a piece that was thankfully brought to our attention. Produced by Roland Faunte, the piece is the brooding, reflective side of the aforementioned double release.

It’s right up our street; specifically tender yet lyrically hard-hitting, the track embraces a dreamy, laidback character, one that goes hand-in-hand with Remora Beach’s gentle melodies and charming, quaint vocal delivery. Inspired by the likes of Father John Misty, Fleet Foxes, and Beach House, among others, the piece finds its rightful place amidst the melancholic indie-pop landscape, using simplicity as a positive weapon, allowing Remora Beach’s luscious vocals to cut through properly.

Delving deeper into the nuanced and introspective songwriting ethos that propels the single, Remora Beach explains: “Most of the subject matter deals with mental health struggles, recovery, and grief. In particular, this song is about struggling with empathising too much and empathising with the wrong people.” We appreciate such a pensive and reflective outlook on his music; Remora Beach has penned a relatable, meaningful cut, one that will likely entice a global audience.
