Following up on last year’s EP ‘PREZ@MINEZ’, New Zealand/Aotearoa-based outfit DeHusslar Music has recently returned with an explosive new single, ‘II VII V DUB’, a slice of high-octane bass goodness delivered with futuristic charm and a heavy club-oriented allure. Propelled by a minimalistic yet effective production, the record navigates digital tones, dubstep-esque breakdowns and a general sense of tension, a quality that makes the listening experience even more special and memorable.
‘II VII V DUB’ is taken from the project’s upcoming LP ‘Watermelon and Dick: The Festival Album’. From a creative standpoint, the record has been inspired by DeHusslar’s own experiences around youth culture and the local scene in Māngere, South Auckland.
