David Baron Returns with Nuanced EP ‘Some Infinities Are Larger Than Others’

It doesn’t happen often to witness such musical mastery unfold before our eyes. And yet, we are here. Courtesy of acclaimed producer and musician David Baron, we get to dive into an EP which feels like a continuation of a journey, and the celebration of a bunch of extraordinary musicians. ‘Some Infinities Are Larger Than Others’ collects some of Baron’s finest work to date, exploring nuanced instrumental gems and vocally-powered jewels.

Featuring singers Fiona Glenn, Donna Lewis and instrumentalists Don Byron (Blue Note Records), Tony Levin (King Crimson) and Tani Tabbal (drummer with Sun Ra and Art Ensemble Of Chicago), the record showcases Baron’s role as head honcho, able to select talent and sourcing the right people for the right track. Of course, that wasn’t a surprise, more a confirmation.

Based in Woodstock, NY, Baron has worked with many renowned artists, from The Lumineers to Lana Del Rey. He is also a partner at Edison Recording Studio, where he has worked on projects for Ray Charles, Journey and Bob Hope. David has composed music for films such as Ashes and Snow and Francis, and his own music is released on the Here & Now Recordings label.
