The result is a hypnotising, summer-driven positive anthem, a song that’s a joy to listen to.
As a surprise, Cris features as the lead singer on his song for the first time, giving ‘Little Yellow Car’ a soothing, velvety tone and a confident delivery, all qualities that add to the record’s already sizeable allure. His daughter is instead on BV’s duty, making it all a wholesome family endeavour.
Delving deeper into the inspiration behind ‘Little Yellow Car’, Cap explains: “For a long time, I worked with amazing singers. But at some point, I realised these songs are so personal, they’re my thoughts, moods, and stories. I want to be the one to tell them. Even if it’s not perfect, I believe my voice carries the emotion more honestly than any flawless technique could. It’s not about perfection, it’s about authenticity. Having my daughter on backing vocals made this project truly special—her voice brings the story full circle.”
