Cobbler Introduces Us to His Vocals on Latest Album ‘Songs, Delayed’

‘Songs, Delayed’ is the third album from Sheffield-based electronic musician and producer Cobbler, and it’s the first to feature the artist’s very own vocals. “I just felt it was time,” he said. “These songs have soundtracked my life, but inside my own head. Maybe it’s time the world hears them”. I for one am stoked that he’s made that decision! The album is an incredible mix of electro and art pop that truly has a little something for everyone. From the energetic and guitar-driven banger ‘Stuck’ to the laidback and downtempo sounds of ‘The Ballad of Robert and Clara’, Cobbler offers up twelve tracks that showcase his versatility as a musician, as well as his expertise.

“My vocals are heavily affected,” he admits. “Not through shyness, but because I wanted to make something that sounded fresh and new”. Mission accomplished as far as I’m concerned! There’s a wonderful originality and boldness to the type of music Cobbler creates, and it can only stand him in good stead going forward.

‘Songs, Delayed’ deserves your attention. End of story. It’s a cracking album from a seriously talented artist, and I can’t wait to hear what he offers up next!
