Beta Libre Returns with Gloomy, Cathartic Piece ‘Resurrection’

A gloomy, hypnotising and boundary-pushing jewel, ‘Resurrection’ offers a stark, leftfield take on what Beta Libre has to offer. Hailing from Tuscany, Italy, the talented songstress boasts a unique origin story, one that showcases the deep competence and witty references that influence her artistic journey. Holding a degree in opera singing, the dynamic creative spent years performing in opera choruses across her homeland and Europe, truly accomplishing herself in the classical world.

Yet, that wasn’t enough for Beta Libre, who decided to transcend into contemporary territories and embrace a more experimental identity, one built on hard-hitting and leftfield electronic tones. ‘Resurrection’ is the strongest example of that. Marking the project’s first single this year, the track showcases Beta Libre’s production prowess and creative potential, while offering listeners an unapologetic, cathartic journey through the cycle of life and her ever-evolving consciousness.

As Beta Libre explains: “It’s an ode to the cyclical nature of death and rebirth, deeply intertwined with the menstrual cycle. Blood becomes a symbol of strength and transformation, forging a mystical connection with nature.” It’s a highly empowering message, one that signals Beta Libre’s willingness to express herself freely and with personal pride. ‘Resurrection’ is taken from the Italian artist’s upcoming album, expected later this year.
