Bel Epoq is a brand new synth-wave duo based in the “capital of marzipan” otherwise known as Lübeck in Germany. Speaking of things sweet and tasty, the duo has just released their latest single entitled ‘Mind & Matter’. It’s their third offering to date, and it’s another spellbindingly good and dark synth-pop tune. The pounding and hard-hitting drums intertwine with the bittersweet synths and, along with the ethereal and dynamic female vocals, create an outstanding track that you can’t help but move along to. Ups and downs, highs and lows, ‘Mind & Matter’ brings you along for the whole ride!
I love the spin that Bel Epoq has decided to put on modern synthwave music. It’s what makes them unique, fresh, and oh-so-appealing. All three of their current singles have been received extremely well so far, with thousands of plays on Spotify already. There’s just something in their sound that draws you in and refuses to let go.
