Wild Horse Return with Nostalgic Single ‘Moments’

Featuring a fuller, more eclectic sound, British outfit Wild Horse are now approaching 2026 with a lovable indie-pop cut, ‘Moments’.

The keen reader might remember Wild Horse by a feature we published in late 2025, praising ‘Magpies’ as “a charming yet slightly melancholic piece that goes a long way into confirming the seemingly new creative era enjoyed by the Brighton-based group”. That very same single had been particularly relevant due to its expanded lineup, with keyboardist Jane Snowdon joining core members Jack Baldwin on drums, and Jack and Henry Baldwin on guitar, bass, and vocals. Featuring a fuller, more eclectic sound, Wild Horse are now approaching 2026 with a lovable indie cut, ‘Moments’.

Leaning heavily towards pop territories, ‘Moments’ is one of the group’s most catchy and vibrant releases to date, a track that will work well in social settings and during gigs, especially for the playful contrast between stomping kinetic energy and the sweet, heartwarming melodies. Despite its highly poignant theming, ‘Moments’ never descends into melancholia, always remaining elegantly uplifting and hopeful.

Delving deeper into the meaningful ethos that propels the track, Wild Horse explain: It explores the breakdown of a relationship, driven by the realisation that there was never anything truly holding it together. ‘Moments’ is about perspective, reframing something falling apart into something understood, turning confusion into clarity, and ultimately arriving at acceptance and forward movement.” We appreciate the observant and relatable character that hides behind the song, a feature that’s been a constant in Wild Horse’s catalogue thus far.
